The best selfie stick; We tested 5 selfie sticks. The best for most is the Aduro U-Stream Selfie Stick.™ It is well finished, looks great and allows a pleasant handling. Its built-in tripod is non-slip and thanks to the remote control, photos can be taken either directly on the device or remotely – great!
In selfie sticks, many think of young Asian tourists who happily take photos in the frenzy of culture shock. But the devices, which are simply used to extend the photographer’s arm, also appear in the inventory of many other groups of people: Above all, influencers use the sticks for self-expression, which in turn stains on countless teenagers.
But also travelers and athletes benefit from the possibility to conjure up more background on the photo thanks to a greater distance, e.B. when they are standing in front of a great natural backdrop. And when you’re out with friends, the group photo also becomes a breeze: The picture with a selfie stick no longer starts with the person on the far left or far right at an unsightly angle, but is shot frontally and with a better distance – and it even fits all easily on the picture!

How do I choose a selfie stick?
- The selfie stick’s clamp must be large enough to accommodate your device. An extending plastic clamp is often the most secure.
- To use with a camera or GoPro, make sure the stick offers a camera mount. For portability, look for a stick that shortens easily.
- Consider a remote trigger for hands-free action.

Loving this 2 in 1 tripod! Great for hiking, blogging, and anything where you need a secure stand to take a photo or video with some width/depth! It’s lightweight also and adjusts great with my iPhone 7. It’s compact enough to carry in a backpack and not super bulky and awkward.
This little phone stand is awesome! I use it for when I detail vehicles it’s very helpful I can set the phone and let it record or take before and after photos. It’s a pretty good quality product. I would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap tripod type solution for phones!

2. Cliquefie Bluetooth Selfie Stick
Simple and smart, the Cliquefie selfie stick features a compact design that’s ultra portable. Crafted from lightweight aluminum steel, it fully supports your phone.
I bought this selfie stick at Best Buy prior to an all day whale watching cruise. I wanted something that I could use to get great shots without fumbling around trying to “hit the button”. (Why is taking selfies so awkward anyway?) So I jumped on the boat after unboxing this product and I took it through its paces and this is what I found…
This is a three in one product. It is primarily a long angled selfie stick, a bluetooth camera remote and a tripod. As with most products that serve multiple functions this product is better at some than others.
As a selfie stick I would say that this is above average. I have had other selfie sticks and they worked ok but had a tendency to be a bit flimsy. This felt solid and sturdy, my phone (i Phone X Max) fit well as long as I removed my bulky case. With the case on the weight was a little too heavy and made things unbalanced a bit.
The base for the tripod is made of lesser quality materials so the tripod functionality was better than nothing but could definitely be sturdier. then again If you were just looking for a selfie stick and found out this has a hands free tripod built into the base as well then you just got lucky and should focus on the bright side.
I found the bluetooth remote control to be functional. It is a nice added benefit especially for those of us always struggling to reach the right button to snap the photo while trying to take large group selfies.
My biggest disappointment with this product was the price. You can easily find cheaper selfie sticks. However this one does serve 3 functions so keep that in mind before you completely dismiss it at the $50 price point..
Overall I would recommend this product but at $50 its not for everyone.

3. Selfie Stick & Tripod Fugetek Integrated portable All-in-one professional
This was so helpful for our trip to nyc. I hate stopping people to take our photos and asking them for retakes if it didnt come out good. It fit in our small backpack and also had some drawstrings so that we could just carry it. Lightweight but didnt tip over with the cold windy day we had in NYC.
This selfie stick may be more expensive than other selfie sticks but it’s well worth the extra few bucks you’ll be paying. This is a lot more sturdy and well made and you can depend on it not to break easily like cheaper models.
Would highly recommend this product.

Make sure this fits by entering your model number. Easy to carry The MPOW iSnap X selfie stick is only 18cm long in its original form and can thus be quickly and easily stowed away in any bag. So it is a breeze to carry around in your pocket or your handbag. Convenient to use You can ues it with only three steps turn it on, pair it with smart phone via Bluetooth and then Snap.
The blutooth sync works great with any phone. The quality grip combined with the wrist band make you feel confident taking pictures in places where you wouldn’t dare normally. The extendable pole is very very sturdy and does not freely move without adequate force like the cheaper selfie-sticks. I have had this for 2 years now, and the clamp is still as powerful as day one, holding almost any phone securely. It has been in the sea, it has been under water, and it still charges. The battery life is marvelous, I only need to charge it maybe once every other month. Fantastic quality, built to last. Highly recommended.
Well constructed. Very easy to use and charge. Good value for money. Linked immediately to my phone. I would definitely recommend this product.
Doesn’t work. I’ve tried it ten times and it’s only connected to the Bluetooth 3 of those times. The majority of the time I get a message that it can’t connect to the selfie stick.

5. Onn. Wireless Selfie Stick
Pics or it didn’t happen! Take your selfie game to the next level or capture the best group photo of your squad with our Wireless Selfie Stick. The adjustable, retractable arm extends up to 30 inches giving you just the right angle to capture your good side. Focus onn. We’re onn. to something here. We took the hassle out of buying electronics and built a brand that’s fresh and simple. With delightful pops of color, finding the right product has never been easier.
I just bought mine today for a trip I’m taking tomorrow. I wish I had more time to come return this before I leave. As soon as I took it out of the box, I tried to turn it on like the instructions say.
The blue light does not turn on no matter what. Thinking then that I might have to charge it, I tried to plug it in. The red LED lamp is supposed to stay solid while it’s charging but it flashes once and shuts off. I’m pretty sure the charging port is defective because it only briefly turns on sometimes.
I tried leaving it that way for a few minutes but the blue pairing light still won’t turn on. I’m disappointed, but I shouldn’t be surprised for the price. I’m going to cut my losses and try to find another store that will be open early tomorrow morning to get a different brand.
The selfie stick was not Bluetooth, it was corded. It’s great for people with older phones, but many of the new phones have discontinued the earphone jack, so this will become obsolete to anyone with a new phone.
It worked well with an older phone that I have (and had to dig out from storage), but I would not recommend this because all of my friends have newer model phones and I would not buy an older model just to be able to use this. The stick itself held the phone precariously and although it had decent length, it felt very rigid to extend and close. Walmart: Onn. Wireless Selfie Stick $9.88 Visit site
Why is my selfie stick not working?
If there is no “Volume Key Function” settings on your camera app, then unfortunately, the phone cannot use a selfie stick. Make sure the Camera 360’s settings also had the “Volume Key Function” set correctly to take picture.
This is what you should pay attention to when buying
If you want to take a photo of the group, it has to be fast. A selfie stick should therefore be ready for use in just a few simple steps. In order for the device to last for a while, the workmanship should be correct and the model must be compactly stored in the bag, as it will probably be used mainly on the go. In addition, you have to consider whether you want to use the stick with action cam and/or smartphone. Depending on the stick, there are different brackets, focusing on the classic versions for smartphones.
With or without tripod?
You should also consider whether you need a tripod. Most models have an integrated mobile phone tripod, but you can also save a few euros if you can do without it.
In general, the market for selfie bars is flooded with countless copies, with many companies offering models of the same building under different names. In such cases we refer to similar models, then you can simply decide on the price.
For some years now, the selfie, which is nothing more than a modern self-portrait, has been experiencing a new heyday – and with it the selfie stick. Especially in moments when a group photo is to be taken with the smartphone, such a pole is not so impractical. Even a self-take in front of a great landscape succeeds wonderfully with a selfie stick, because you can photograph more from the background.
However, selfie sticks are increasingly banned: in museums, theme parks, zoos, festivals and concerts, sports competitions and stadiums.
With a selfie stick you can snap great holiday photos.
A big problem is that selfie sticks block others’ vision. In museums, there are concerns about the mobile phone poles because exhibits could be damaged. Participants in sports competitions where the audience is close to the track run the risk of being hampered by the poles and in some stadiums the sticks are seen as weapons. In some zoos, the selfie sticks do not keep safety distances to the animals.
But there is also the other side of the coin: the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna is leading with a modern, positive example and supports the use of the sticks, as young people identify with the works and share them on social media.
How we tested
In our test we had an eye on different areas. We assessed the processing of the selfie sticks, how quickly they were ready for use and whether they really still seemed stable when extended with a smartphone. Design and functionality also played a role.
Most selfie sticks come with an integrated tripod that shouldn’t wobble and must ensure slip resistance. We measured the length including the handpiece up to the end of the extendable rod, i.e. without the thread, which is folded upwards.
Of course, we checked the Bluetooth pairing with Android and iOS for each model, but it worked quickly and easily with all sticks.
The selfie sticks were judged on how well they are suitable for travel. If a stick is squealing around in your handbag, it shouldn’t be too small to be hooked on headphones, keys, or anything else.
Finally, the general handling was evaluated: How well can the stick be pulled out, are there unstable parts, is the use handy? Based on these factors, we have determined our test winner and other recommendations for you.
