The goal, he says, is to use less energy to support the growing demand for data in Edge Computing and 5G.

Telefónica has been using the system free cooling in thousands of buildings and radio base stations: when temperatures are low, external air is used to cool equipment and servers and reduce by up to 30% in energy consumption.
